Piedmont Retina Specialists is dedicated to providing our patients the opportunity to participate in clinical trials of new medicines, devices and state-of-the-art preventative treatments prior to their medical release. Clinical trials provide opportunities for physicians and patients to evaluate and assess what therapy will work best for each patient. Our highly trained staff are educated and experienced in clinical trial management and strive to maintain excellent quality standards.

Current Trials
Piedmont Retina is currently involved in trials for Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Geographic Atrophy and Retinal Vein Occlusion. We are actively enrolling patients in our Greensboro and Winston-Salem locations. We will continue to seek opportunities to participate in future clinical trials and new areas of study.
